Claudine Gay Resigns

Claudine Gay, Harvard University’s first black president and second female president, resigns after a six-month period amid backlash concerning antisemitism and plagiarism. Gay faced criticism for failing to properly condemn Hamas attacks along with her response to addressing antisemitism on campus during the December Congressional committee hearing. Shortly after this hearing, she was accused of plagiarism and the same Congressional committee agreed to examine her published work.
