The Museum will be closed for maintenance from January 6 to 10. We will reopen for the weekend January 11 and 12 (weather dependent). We will close again from Jan 13 to 17 and reopen for the rest of the season on January 18. Thank you for your understanding.

Confederate Statue Removed

Statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee is removed from Monument Avenue in Richmond, VA after years of protests and calls for removal. Officials state that the statue will be moved to a storage facility until a final decision is made regarding its future. The base will remain, now with a time capsule placed beneath, while the community reimagines Monument Avenue.
