John Wayne Gacy Victim

Using innovative DNA testing techniques, investigators are able to identify sixteen year old James Byron Haakenson as a victim of serial killer John Wayne Gacy over forty-one years after his disappearance. Haakenson is one of the twenty-six people found buried beneath Gacy’s home in Chicago, Illinois in 1978. Investigators are still working toward identifying the remaining six unknown individuals.
