Moore’s historical fiction work, “Condemn Me Not,” is an affecting and moving re-telling of Martin’s story. In Moore’s hands, the woman who was infamously cemented in history by Reverend Cotton Mather as “one of the most impudent, scurrilous, wicked creatures in the world,” is instead brought to life as a warm and loving wife and mother, strong-willed and courageous.
