Welcome to Wenham

Wenham, MA, was once part of Salem. This small, rural town seven miles north of present-day Salem was incorporated in 1643. Wenham had its own unique industry during the 1800s, when ice harvested from Wenham Lake was popular as far away as London. Wenham’s ice industry ended by the 1970s. Today, this beautiful, historic town is home to approximately 5,000 residents.
