Bondi Beach Hero

Syrian-Australian shop owner Ahmed Al Ahmed is hailed as a hero after tackling one of the gunmen during the Bondi Beach shooting and wrestling the shotgun out of his hands. Ahmed’s selfless act of bravery likely saved countless lives and stopped further destruction. Although wounded by the other shooter during his heroic act, Ahmed is reported to fully recover.
