Capitol Attack

January 6, 2021

Supporters of President Trump and right-wing extremists storm the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. during the congressional certification of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ victory. The attack results in five deaths and prompts evacuation of lawmakers. Congress completes the certification the following day without incident.
