Terror Attack in Manhattan

A lone assailant plows their rented utility truck into pedestrians along the West Side Highway bike path in New York City, killing eight and wounding an additional eleven people. The suspect was subsequently shot in the abdomen by a police officer and detained. Authorities state that a note in the perpetrator’s truck declared that the attack was sanctioned by ISIS.
