Former United States President Donald Trump survives an assassination attempt at an outdoor campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. A lone gunman fires six to eight shots during the event; killing one spectator and critically wounding two others. A bullet grazes Trump’s ear before the shooter is killed by a member of the Secret Service.
