Trump Nominates Gaetz

Donald Trump nominates Matt Gaetz as his pick for Attorney General with Gaetz tendering his resignation from the House of Representatives effective immediately. The previous year, Gaetz was under investigation for sex trafficking by the same department that he has now been chosen to helm. The House Committee On Ethics has also investigated him in regard to sexual misconduct, illicit drug use, and obstruction.
